Interestingly, paint on wood can be historically so outsized as a medium as with a traditional altarpiece or a triptych. Tatiana, that was her name, had done a crochet painting reproduction of Klimt’s The Kiss and stated it as the cheeky reason she had overslept earlier. Markus our boss commented on her post saying that the painting was 180 cm in its original dimension and that if it were up to him, he would have done Mondrian instead. I messaged him later saying, “I’m thinking of vacationing in Europe next year with my new boyfriend. Didn’t Tanya also go to Belgium last year if I remember correctly?”
